There are a lot of myths surrounding the news media industry. It’s a media made by and aimed at old people. Older readers are dying and young people don’t like traditional news brands. Younger readers will pay for music or games, but not news. Print is dead. Talking to inanimate objects is just weird. This keynote presentation will talk about some of the most common beliefs and prevailing sentiments surrounding our industry today. We will knock each of these on the head, and hopefully you will leave this session feeling even prouder about the work you do every day.
